The Delaware Charity Challenge is a unique fundraising and athletic competition designed to give organizations, families, and individuals a fun way to raise money and awareness for their favorite causes. Teams that enter may designate any charity they want as a beneficiary of funds they raise as a team. Part of the proceeds from the race registrations and the race sponsorships will go into a prize pool that will be distributed among the charities that raise the most money and to the charities of the teams that win the individual race events on the day of the Delaware Charity Challenge.

"Show Some Love" Fundraising Challenge

(Friday, Feb. 13 at 8:00 a.m. to Monday, Feb. 16 at 11:59 p.m.)

Thanks in part to our Race Bib SponsorTarabicos Grosso, we are running our first mini fundraising promotion to help the teams in the Delaware Charity Challenge with their fundraising! The team that raises the most money for their charity between Friday, Feb. 13 at 8:00 am through Monday, Feb. 16 at 11:59 pm will receive an extra $100 for their charity. We will separately recognize the winning team on our Facebook page. We hope this is a fun way to help motivate some of your friends and social networks to donate to your teams, and start to raise some money and awareness for your respective charities through the race.

You can see the list of teams and their respective charities on the Delaware Charity Challenge CrowdRise page. You can donate to any of these teams simply by clicking on the blue Donate button on any of the team pages or the main page.

An easy way to participate and generally raise money for your team/charity is to share your team fundraising page link with your friends and post it to your individual or organization's Facebook page as a status update on your timeline. A sample post would be:

"I am running in the Delaware Charity Challenge on May 2, and trying to raise money for ___________. Our team is in the "Race to Raise" and wants to raise more money than the other charities and teams in the race and we need your help. You can help me, my team and support our charity, by donating to our team fundraising page, linked below. Every bit helps. Thank you!!"

Paste your team URL below after your message, and your friends will be able to go straight to your team page when they click that link.
