Caffé Gelato To Award 8-Person Pasta Dinner As A Team Fundraising Prize In The Spring Delaware Charity Challenge

The Caffé Gelato prize will be awarded to the team that raises the most money during the month of April as part of the Delaware Charity Challenge Spring "Race-to-Raise" fundraising competition. The Delaware Charity Challenge fundraising and athletic competition is designed to give organizations, families, and individuals a fun way to raise money and awareness for their favorite causes.
Caffé Gelato Restaurant and Catering, located on Main Street in Newark, Delaware, will award a complimentary pasta dinner for up to eight people to the team that raises the most money on their Delaware Charity Challenge team fundraising page from April 1 through April 30 in the 2017 Spring Race to Raise fundraising competition. The dinner must be scheduled directly with Caffé Gelato and must be used before November 30, 2017. The team captain will be awarded the certificate. To qualify for this prize, a team must raise a minimum of $500 over the course of April. The Caffé Gelato prize will be awarded in addition to any other prizes that are also awarded or won from the Delaware Charity Challenge or the prize pool.

Registration is open for the 3rd Annual Delaware Charity Challenge 5K and Adventure Challenge Relay, which takes place Lums Pond State Park on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Race registration for the 5K is $40/runner for teams with discounts available for nonprofits. Teams and runners can choose to run in one of four divisions at the Delaware Charity Challenge 5K: a competitive men's team 5K, a competitive women's team 5K, a competitive co-ed team 5K, and a fun team run/walk. Competitors can also challenge themselves in the Adventure Challenge Relay, which consists of a series of different races for pairs and larger teams, including a canoe race, a peddleboat race, a mountain bike race, a run, and other team puzzle challenges. Race registration for the Adventure Challenge Relay is $50/person.
There will also be two other Delaware Charity Challenge competitions in 2017 after the May 6 races at Lums Pond. The Race Across Killens Pond will take place June 24, 2017 at Killens Pond State Park in Felton, Delaware. The First State Duathlon will take place at Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, Delaware on July 15, 2017.
