The Winter Race to Raise is On & Indoor Triathlon Registration is Open
The Winter Indoor Triathlon is only 3 months away on January 7, 2017!
The Delaware Charity Challenge Winter Race to Raise 2016 is on! A few teams have already registered and many others have told us they plan to. In the current Race to Raise fundraising competition, our Warm Up/Cool Down Sponsor CrossFit Riverfront has taken an early lead with $165 raised for the Delaware Fallen Heroes Scholarship Fund. We also so far have teams raising money for Combined Campaign for Justice, Communities in Schools of Delaware, Miracles for Molly, and Pieces of a Dream. You can support any of these nonprofit beneficiaries by clicking on the blue donate button on their team fundraising pages.
If you wanted to raise money for your favorite cause this winter through the Delaware Charity Challenge, registration is open! To sign up for the winter indoor triathlon, create a team or sign up as an individual at challengede.eventbrite.com.

FAQ: What is the Winter Indoor Triathlon?
The Winter Indoor Triathlon will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. The competition starts at 9 a.m. with teams competing throughout the day. The triathlon consists of a 45 minute race on three machines: treadmill, rowing machine, and spin bike. You can compete in the Medley/Relay division (as a team with 3 people each competing in one event) or in the Run, Row, Bike division (as a team with 3 people competing in each event). Individuals can also compete in the Run, Row, Bike division. There are different competitive categories within each division, and scoring is based on the total distance covered. Teams can enter multiple squads to compete across different divisions. All participants have the option of creating or joining a team fundraising page and raising money for a charity of your choice. Prize money will also be awarded to the top fundraising teams and the beneficiaries of the teams that win the competitive divisions at the triathlon.
More information on the specifics of the competition can be found on the Delaware Charity Challenge website. The Pursuit of Health & Wellness Expo and health fair will be happening at the same time as the triathlon, so be sure to visit with those sponsors and exhibitors while you're there!
