Hyatt Place Dewey Beach To Award Complimentary Stay As A Team Fundraising Prize In The Winter Delaware Charity Challenge

Wilmington, DE, November 16, 2016 – Innovincent and Hyatt Place Dewey Beach are pleased to announce that Hyatt Place Dewey Beach will be a prize sponsor for the Second Annual Delaware Charity Challenge Winter Indoor Triathlon. The Hyatt Place Dewey Beach prize will be awarded to the team that raises the most money during the month of December during the Winter "Race-to-Raise" portion of the Delaware Charity Challenge, which runs from October 1, 2016 to January 6, 2017. The Delaware Charity Challenge is a unique fundraising and athletic competition designed to give organizations, families, and individuals a fun way to raise money and awareness for their favorite causes.
Hyatt Place Dewey Beach, an award winning resort hotel located by the Rehoboth Bay and footsteps from the Atlantic Ocean, will award a complimentary two night stay (1 suite) to the team that raises the most money through their Delaware Charity Challenge team fundraising page from December 1 through December 31 in the Winter Race to Raise competition. The reservation is based upon availability and must be booked directly with the Hyatt Place Dewey Beach management team a minimum of ten days prior to arrival. The certificate is eligible from January 2, 2017 to May 31, 2017. The team captain will be awarded the certificate. To qualify for this prize, teams must raise a minimum of $500 over the course of December. The Hyatt Place Dewey Beach prize will be awarded in addition to any other prizes that are also awarded as well as any cash prizes the teams may win from the Delaware Charity Challenge prize pool.

Registration is open for the 2nd Annual Delaware Charity Challenge Winter Indoor Triathlon, which takes place at the Chase Center on the Riverfront on Saturday, January 7, 2017. The triathlon consists of a 45 minute race on a treadmill, rowing machine, and spin bike (15 minutes on each machine). Individuals and teams can compete in the Medley/Relay division (as a team with 3 people each doing one event) or in the Run, Row, Bike division (individually or as a team, with each person doing all three events). Registration costs to participate in the triathlon are $60/person for the full run, row, bike triathlon division, and $40/person for the medley/relay triathlon division. Discounts are available for nonprofits and larger teams.
There will also be two other Delaware Charity Challenge competitions in 2017 after the triathlon. The 5K and Adventure Challenge Relay will take place May 6, 2017 at Lums Pond State Park in Bear, Delaware. There will also be a duathlon at Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, Delaware on July 15, 2017.
